SlideStick is a games controller that connects to a computer, and is meant to aid physically challenged users in playing traditional mouse and keyboard games. Featuring a simple joystick, and 8 programmable buttons, SlideStick allows for easier accessibility to important key binds and functions. The controller uses two Arduino Unos and requires two USB ports. SlideStick was created as a capstone project for a summer program at the University of Southern California during the summer of 2019.
The design was created in collaboration with Noah Matheu and Queena Lin. All pieces were designed to scale within Autodesk Fusion 360. The individual pieces were 3D printed by Lance Winkel, and assembled by the team.
